So as a fan of the culture, I wanted to see who people were hot about.

Global online magazine Yo! Raps proudly presents the nominees for the Yo! Awards 2009 giving Hip-Hop fans worldwide the opportunity to vote for their favorite artist/group in 20 prestigious categories ranging from Best New Artist, Album Of The Year, and Best Producer to the controversial Beef Of The Year.
Voting for the Yo! Awards 2009 starts on November 23 and ends on December 14.

- Gucci Mane (((NO, Seriously? He's dropping a major label release and has been the go-to guy for more than the 2nd half of this year, we're already watching. FAIL.)))
- B.o.B. (((NO, He was on the XXL C/O 09 and still hasn't presented us with any viable singles...and his mixtapes seem to be going under the radar.)))
- Nipsey Hussle (((strong contender, his mixtape series has been buzzing and his performance on the BET HHA opened up alot of eyes and ears to this dude. He might be the new Snoop and you see how long he lasted.)))
- J. Cole (((NO, I don't know what the big deal is about this dude. The only tight verse I heard was on the wale album. He's still eating at Denny's with the Young Gunz per diem.)))
